What Edecy stores, and what it doesn't.
This covers everything at edecy.com.au: the website itself, the beat store, and Edecy AI, the private assistant that runs on a single computer owned and operated by Raven Kuehlmann in Perth, Western Australia. There is no company behind it and no investors. That shapes everything below.
The website and the store
Reading this site sets no cookies and asks you for nothing. Cloudflare serves the pages and records the usual request logs on its own infrastructure, and the pages carry Cloudflare's cookieless analytics, which counts visits without identifying anyone or following you between sites.
The beat store plays previews and holds a cart in your own browser. Nothing about what you listen to or add to a cart reaches the server. When checkout goes live it will be handled by an external payment provider who becomes the merchant: card details are entered on their systems and are never seen by, or passed through, this site.
Edecy AI
The short version. Your conversations, the photos you send, and the images and video you generate are never stored. Edecy keeps a username, a one-way hash of your password, and a count of how many things you've generated. There is no email address on file, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party AI service involved.
What is stored
- A username. Whatever you chose. Your real name isn't required.
- A password hash. PBKDF2-SHA256, 200,000 iterations, with a random salt unique to you. The password itself is never stored in any form and cannot be recovered by anyone, including the operator.
- Session tokens, so you stay signed in. They expire after 30 days.
- Generation counts. That a chat, image or video happened, which model ran, and when. Not what it was about.
- The invite code you signed up with.
What is never stored
- Your messages and Edecy's replies. Each message is answered by a model running on that computer and then discarded. The transcript you see lives on your own device, which is why clearing your browser data clears your history.
- Photos you send. Passed to the vision model, answered, gone.
- Images and video you generate. Created on that machine, sent to your device, then deleted from the server.
- Your email address or phone number. Neither is ever asked for.
- Your location.
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or anything used for tracking.
No analytics in the assistant, and no third-party AI
The assistant itself contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs and no tracking of any kind. Nobody is measuring what you do with it.
Every model runs locally on that one computer. Your messages are not sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or anyone else, because there is no such connection in the software.
Who can see what
The operator can see your username, when you signed up, how many sessions you have open, and how many chats, images and videos you've generated. That's the whole list.
He cannot read your conversations, because they aren't written down anywhere. This isn't a promise not to look. There is nothing to look at.
Network and IP addresses
Traffic reaches the machine through a Cloudflare tunnel, so Cloudflare handles it in transit and sees connection metadata including your IP address. Their privacy terms apply to that part. Edecy itself uses your IP only in memory, and only to slow down repeated failed sign-in attempts. It is never written to disk.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time, under Account. It removes your username, your password hash and every active session immediately. Generation counts are kept but detached from you, so what remains is a record that a chat happened at a certain time, with nobody attached to it.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Your username becomes available again.
Children
Edecy is not intended for children. It answers frankly and without content warnings, including on adult subjects, which is deliberate. Accounts are invite-only and issued by the operator.
Where your data lives
On one computer in Perth, Western Australia. Nothing is replicated to a cloud service, another country, or a backup provider. If that machine is switched off, Edecy is simply unavailable until it comes back.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
